SueJ
Hi Medo, As far as I know this is not a built-in feature of Outlook. There are 3rd party addins available like Easy2Sync For Outlook. Haven't tried it myself but it has gotten pretty good reviews.
Simon H
Hi Medo, If you have set up Outlook correctly on your laptop then the most likely thing is that you are using pop3 email with Outlook set to delete messages from the server after downloading them onto your computer. This been the case, when you log into your email with your laptop the messages have already been downloaded and deleted by your computer so they are no longer there to be downloaded onto your laptop. There are 2 ways to resolve this Set up Outlook to leave a copy of messages on the server for a set time say 14 days. This will give you time to download emails onto each device before they are removed from the server. Or you could set Outlook to only delete the emails from the server when they are deleted from deleted items. Depending on how many emails you get and how much space your ISP gives you for emails this may be the best solution. In Outlook 2010 Click the File tab > Account Settings Click on account settings again Highlight your email account by clicking on it Click change > More settings > Advanced tab In the Delivery section check the box "Leave a copy of message on the server." Adjust the number of days that you need mail to be left on the server Or check the box “Remove from server when deleted from Deleted items”. Click OK > Next and Finish. Whichever solution you choose, you will need to make sure that Outlook is set up the same way on your laptop as well otherwise you could find outlook on your laptop deleting messages before you get them onto your computer.
