2. A feature I use all the time in Microsoft Outlook 2013 (Office 2013) is the ability to open a calendar invite during a meeting and click - Meeting Notes. See screenshot from Outlook 2013. After installing Office 2016, when I open up outlook I no longer have that option in the calendar. It's just missing. Is anyone else having this issue or is it just me? Hopefully this is just an issue with the Preview and it will get fixed later during full release.

4. Outlook graphics

I can get most graphics from web sites in outlook with no trouble. How ever there is one site that has stopped loading the graphics and I cannot figure out why just one site? The site if Groupon. What is really strange is that their getaway travel graphics come in just fine it is only their goods and services graphic that I am not recieving. Is there something in my outlook or is it on the sender's - Groupon's - side?? Any help would be appreciated.

6. As an e-mail recipient is there any way to determine if an e-mail you have received has been purposely delayed and/or scheduled by the sender to be delivered at a later date/time?
7. Outlook 2010 Emails

I have outlook 2010 on my computer and laptop, I also use the same email for both of them but the emails are only headng to the computer is there a setting that will send the emails to both?
8. When installing an update for Firefox, I inadvertently set Firefox as the default browser. Now, when I try to click a link, I get this error message "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions set on this computer. Please contact your system administrator." I tried to change this four ways. First, by going into Internet Options, Programs, and selecting Internet Explorer as the default. The "Make Default" box is gray and cannot be clicked on. The second way I tried was through the "Select Default Programs". I made Internet Explorer my default program. I was still getting the error message in Outlook when I click on any link in an email. The third way I tried was to uninstall Firefox. I was still getting the error message when I clicked on a link in email. So, the fourth way I tried was to reinstall Firefox and indicating NOT to make Firefox the default. I'm still getting the same error message. If everything I try is not working, this looks like a proprietary attempt by Microsoft to prevent users from using other browsers. How can I correct this problem in Outlook and have it either go to Firefox OR Internet Explorer. I should have control over that, not Mircrosoft. Please advise.
9. I am finding that my reminders will only chime in my phone not in the outlook 2010 program ... does it have to be one or the other? Thanks,
10. Is there a way to share a reminder that you've set for a task in Outlook with someone else on the same server?
11. Is there a way to create a reminder that notifies you about a missing attachment in outgoing mail for Outlook? For instance, if you forgot the attachment to your email but youve used the word "attach" in the body of the email...
12. Jeff writes: I have read a few of your articles about scheduling Outlook emails. I have a question about taking this a step further. In our office, we have Outlook 2010. Issue – some of the execs have now asked that the subordinates email them a daily plan. Every morning we email our calendars with “limited details” to our bosses. Many of us forget when we come straight into full voicemail boxes and back-to-back meetings. So I have been looking for a way to use a Rule or some other mechanism to do this each weekday automatically. I hope you get the idea by now, but… Each morning at a specified time, Outlook will email my daily calendar with limited details to a specified list. Of course, we all share calendars with each other. Some of the bosses will take the 2 clicks to check our calendars, but others want it sent as described above. Any ideas? -Jeff
13. Gavin writes: Just wondering if I can do personalised mail merge on Mac Outlook please? Can't find the mail merge icon anywhere and it is driving my crazy! Big thanks
14. I have windows 7 with outlook 2010 and I always backup my outlook files folder containing the Outlook data file. Is this all I need to restore my outlook if anything went wrong with my laptop. I have hundreds of emails in different folders that I have set up, hundreds of contacts. I have dozens of email rules, calendar appointments and tasks and quicksteps. Are these all stored in the outlook data file or do I need to back up other files as well. Should I be exporting the calendar and contacts separately or is it ok to just back up the data file. I just want to make sure that I am backing up all the right stuff.
15. how long does emails stay in the recovery deleted folder? does the folder hold them for a certain amount of days or it just holds a certain amount.
16. I know I can send an email to my contact list without everyone seeing everyone else's email address by using the bcc function. I know there is a way to send one email to everyone in the contact list so that it looks like only that one person is getting the email. There email address alone would show in the to box. I don't know how to do this.
17. In Outlook 2010, Windows 7, I find that new email windows vanish before I can complete the email, and autocomplete addresses vanish before I can click on them. Similarly when hovering with mouse over the Outlook logo on my taskbar, the new email is there and will come up when right clicked and vanish instantly; left clicking on the icon keeps the email on top, especially if I maximize it, long enough to complete the message and send. Is this an Outlook instability or is there some selection I should make somewhere that says "Keep open email on top" or something like that? Thanks
18. [Question from reader] Hi Steve, We were on Groupwise which was greatin that you could see if a recipienthas opened your e-mail (if theydecided to ignore your request for acouple days). 19. Outlook short cuts

I would like to hit a short cut key in any application that would bring up a new message in outlook to compose, simmilar to the short cut keys in Evernote for a new note. I am always in another program when I need to send an email and I have to mouse over to the outlook icon and then open outlook and then click on "New Message". Do you guys have any suggestions?
20. I am running outlook 2010 64 bit, but used to run a program called "Calls to Journal". This program would sync my cell phone calls right into my Outlook Journal, which was an outstanding feature. But unfortunately, the program was never updated to run on anything other than Outlook 2007 32 bit. I am using an Iphone now, but am at a loss as to how to sync my phone calls (incoming and outgoing) to Outlook. Any suggestions?
21. Randy Writes: Hi, How do I send an Outlook Contact Group, including its names, addresses, etc., to another computer? Thanks,
22. Is it possible to do a mail merge to selected users from the GAL in Outlook 07, from a user perspective? I'm on an Exchange system with 100,000+ users in the GAL (including groups, etc), but only ~500 that I could conceivably need to send these merge emails to (in my physical region), and I have no admin control over the GAL. Of those ~500 users, I need to be able to send personalized emails to ~50-100 each day to specific users. The ability to print out a log of the emails I sent would be helpful, but is outside the scope of this project (that was one of the reasons I was contemplating Access - update GAL import, re-run query of users in my physical location, enter list of users I need to send the email to, click one button that generates email to each user and creates/prints out the list of users who received the email). I've suspended my investigation of Access as a possible solution because my network administrator called me and told me my import was slowing down the network, after attempting to process the import for 20 minutes. I don't want to copy these users into my PAB, since changes are made every day to the GAL (with or without me needing to know about it), and keeping my PAB up to date would be an administrative nightmare. I can't use any add-ons for my Outlook, or install any additional software. I do have permissions to write macros and VBA code. Any thoughts?
23. Outlook Mass Email

Jon S. writes: Your article comes very close to what I am trying to set up with a rather large list of e-mail addresses (usually 200 to 300 a month), and what I am trying to do is figure some way to quickly set this up as a contact group or list of contacts so we can do a merge and personalize the e-mail, rather than making it generic. Any suggestions? Manual entry would be WAY too time-consuming.
24. Recover deleted emails

25. I have Windows 7 and MS Office 2010, Norton 360 & CCleaner only for virus & registry scans. CCleaner deleted MS Outlook. I doubt very much it was Norton and I seem to recall that it was after the CCleaner scan & fix that I couldn't open Outlook anymore. I managed to create another Outlook file but contacts are empty. I had informational dates, addresses, birth dates, phone numbers and a whole host of other information that I had got to get back if I can. How can I undo the general cleaner and registry cleaner to before this happened? I have all of the CCleaner registry cleaners backed up - I just don't know how to undo the processes.
