I am using Outlook 2003.I have huge numbers of .pst files . I want to manage Outlook by dividing PST files by Folder. But i don't want to compact files. -Jhon

I have tried other Forums and no one seems to have a fix for this, but I just keep on trying. I am having an issue with the “Junk” filter in Microsoft Office Outlook 2010. I am unable to stop some email from being filtered and moved to the “Junk” filter. My mail is filtered prior to my getting it, so I WANT IT COMPLETELY OFF! I went to the Junk drop down on the Home menu bar and selected Junk E-mail Options. I click on the lowest setting being . . . No Automatic Filtering. Mail from blocked senders is still moved to the Junk E-mail Folder. And I have no one listed in the Block Senders list, so that should mean, nothing is filtered. But, a small portion of my e-mail still ends up there. Ahhh – I and can’t stop it.

How-to unsync Hotmail Emails from my iPhoneI can't recall how I synced them, but I deleted the Hotmail account from my email accounts on my iPhone and everytime I send an email, the recipient reads the incoming as the Hotmail account, not the Comcast account that I am using. -
I was using an iMac OS 10.8.3 and had this error message while in Thunderbird: “Unable to open the summary file for imap:server.orange.fr. Perhaps there was an error on disk, or the full path is too long.” When I tried to get my mail I got “The imap:server.orange.fr” is not responding.” (My ISP) This problem has been around for at least 5 years and everyone was looking to their email clients or their ISP mail servers, which was wrong. At first I too thought it was Thunderbird. I tried everything, without success, that was suggested on the forums. I then decided to install first “Opera” then I tried “Mail” already installed on my iMac. Both gave me “The imap:server.gmail.com” is not responding.” trying to add a new account. Basically I was getting the same problem across all email clients and all accounts. Pop and Imap. I saw a forum for gmail (one of my accounts is a gmail, which uses IMAP) where a Google rep replied and finally said what we should do but added: “If it is a problem across all email clients and all IMAP servers then it is something else. Have a nice day” I tried my PC and I had no problem downloading my emails. Conclusion: It was not the IMAP servers. It was not Thunderbird and Mail and Opera. It was not my ISP. It was not my adsl/broadband box. It was in fact a MacOS problem and the same tho-ing can happen on a PC. We did have a few storms locally and the iMac was shut down but it is surge protected twice. SOLUTION: The MAC solution was to resest my Network servers. I was told by justperry on MACRUMORS to do this: Go/macintosh HD or root/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration Take the whole SystemConfiguration folder put it on your desk top (it's now backup copy) Trash the SystemConfiguration folder if it is still in the Preferences folder and restart. The iMac reconfigured the SystemConfiguration folder and it all worked again. -
My inbox messages and sent item messages are both showing in the inbox. When I send any email from my gmail account, the same message is showing in the inbox in outlook account rather than showing it in the sent items in outlook. When I update my outlook account with gmail the whole sent item messages from gmail account comes in the inbox folder of outlook account. Please help me out. -
I have inadvertently deleted my Sent Items Folder from Outlook Express.I have tried a couple of the suggestions from your Forum,especially the DWORD VALUE and Dumpster Always which was already set but does not show in the Tool Box. Any suggestions please?Diana Illston

Is there an email app for iPhone that lets you use pop 3 email and: Add new folders to the inbox. Filter emails based on words in the body or subject. I have seen one alternative app but it only works with gmail. I am looking for one that I can use to download any emails.

Hello,I been looking for a solution to an issue with the default Android Email program. I can not see meeting invites sent from Outlook. It just shows the email title...nothing else.the work around I have been doing is having gmail pull my work email. When this happens to a meeting invite I can see its an invite but nothing else. Do you know a reliable app or program that can use on my Android phone or tablet? Thanks... Timurids -
Save or export the autocomplete addresses from outlook?

When I use Excel 2010 I always get two "crosses" in the top right of the screen. One to close the current document, and one to close the entire program. This comes in handy when I have multiple documents open. But this isnt the case when I have multiple documents open in Word 2010. Then there is only one cross in the top right to close the entire program. When I want to close a document when I have more documents open, I have to go to "File" and close the document I want to close. Is there a way, or a setting, with wich I can add or select the "close this document cross" to Word 2010? -
I like how you can set up Outlook to notify you as soon as the email you senthas been opened by the recipient. Can gmail be set up that way? -
How can I send a personalized email to individuals in a contact group in Outlook 2010? When I try to do this, I get a message that contact groups cannot be merged. There must be a way to do this.Thanks.

Jeff writes: I have read a few of your articles about scheduling Outlook emails. I have a question about taking this a step further. In our office, we have Outlook 2010. Issue – some of the execs have now asked that the subordinates email them a daily plan. Every morning we email our calendars with “limited details” to our bosses. Many of us forget when we come straight into full voicemail boxes and back-to-back meetings. So I have been looking for a way to use a Rule or some other mechanism to do this each weekday automatically. I hope you get the idea by now, but… Each morning at a specified time, Outlook will email my daily calendar with limited details to a specified list. Of course, we all share calendars with each other. Some of the bosses will take the 2 clicks to check our calendars, but others want it sent as described above. Any ideas? -Jeff

how long does emails stay in the recovery deleted folder? does the folder hold them for a certain amount of days or it just holds a certain amount.

A friend of mine is receiving emails from my email address advertising electronics but I never sent them. I have a strong password which I changed as soon as I was made aware of the first email, I changed my security details as well but since then another 2 emails have been sent. I don't have any automatic mailing software and the emails are not in my sent box. How is this happening when I have done all my security. -
The options are gone from the outlook 2010 right click menu and I cant find them in the ribbon interface

In Outlook 2010, Windows 7, I find that new email windows vanish before I can complete the email, and autocomplete addresses vanish before I can click on them. Similarly when hovering with mouse over the Outlook logo on my taskbar, the new email is there and will come up when right clicked and vanish instantly; left clicking on the icon keeps the email on top, especially if I maximize it, long enough to complete the message and send. Is this an Outlook instability or is there some selection I should make somewhere that says "Keep open email on top" or something like that? Thanks -

We are using Outlook 2010 here at the office. And several people are getting the message that there inbox is out of space. And those people have over 3500 emails in there inbox. When I started here I made folders for everyone of my subjects so I can archive easely. But now I want to know how many emails I have. Q: How do I find out how many emails I have, including all the folders, using Outlook 2010?
