What computer speakers should I buy?

OK groovy community! My $500 Klipsch speakers finally bit the dust after 8 years!

Problem is, I've not really been keeping up on computer speakers since. So... what's the speakers to buy these days? Altec Lansing? Or?

I don't want to spend more than... $150 so give me some ideas!

i have the cerwin-vega desktop speakers.love em!i run them with srs audio sandbox.they seem to do the trick.best buy has the speakers.srs has a nice page on face book.check them out!

My vote is the Eagle Tech ET-AR504LR-BK 2.1

I bought a pair and they are great. I don't like how the cables are a little short however the speakers overall are great for the price. Under $100 and for a small room they do just fine.

The Eagle Tech speakers are cheap and lame. Don't buy those.

JBL Creature III is great. Got those for work and I love them.

I ll suggest Altec Lansing. And i think you will be able to find good ones under 150.

I have the Creature. They rule. Small and sound great. +1
