How to copy Autocorrect entries from Office 2003 to Office 2010+

I think the answer to this is gathering your Office 2003 dictionary file. Open it with a text editor (Notepad++) and then copy the data over to the 2010, as you mentioned.

The 2003 dictionary file should be located in:
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Microsoft\Proof\CUSTOM.DIC

For 2010, you can find the location by following the article linked in your question!
