Hi everyone! I have a problem… I can’t open microsoft project file. When attempting to open this file I receive an error message: "There was a problem opening this project last time, do you want to attempt a repair?" If I choose yes or no for the repair I still get the same result after, which is another message saying: "This action will cause a scheduling conflict. Task 266 of XXX with status upd...'has a task constraint or is linked to a task that cannot move, and as a result the constraint or the link cannot be set. You can, cancel or continue."Does anyone know how I can go about recovering this file? I want to find a solution.

We have Microsoft Access 2010 as a database for our closed files and have just gone from No. 9999 to 10000 (from 4 numbers to 5 numbers) and now instead of continuing on with numbering after 9999, Access has begun the numbers beginning with 10000 at the TOP of our database, so whenever we enter a new number, we now have to go to the very BOTTOM to enter that new number, but when we get out of Access and then get back in it, that new number (and all of the next new numbers) will be located at the TOP of Access, instead of continuing on at the BOTTOM like it always has. Is there any way at all to make Access continue the numbering at the BOTTOM of our Access list like it always has without having to go through and add a "0" before all of our numbers to make the existing numbers have 5 numbers? Thank you for anyone who might have an answer!

Patch Tuesday Crashes PC On Restart
Charlie posted a topic in General Geek Questions (HW, SW, Etc..)
On three occasions now Microsoft's Patch Tuesday Updates have crashed my Win 7/64 Bit p.c. All goes well with the downloading and the installation of the updates, but when it comes to the obligatory restart the computer just goes to a black screen or gets into a restart loop when attempting to reboot. The only saving grace has been to start and restart the computer on numerous occasions until a repair option is presented. Any thoughts/solutions would be appreciated... -
The new Office 2013 pure white background is too white. It burns my eyes. I have to turn my screen brightness down just to keep from getting a headache. Any fix for this or do we have to wait for retail?

Paulo B writes: Thank you for the great info on http://www.groovypost.com/howto/microsoft/remove-add-words-to-office->2010-word-dictionary/. I wonder if you would you further know how to copy autocorrect entries from word 2003 to word 2010? I >guess it would be a matter of finding the word 2010 autocorrect file and add the info from the word 2003 >file but I am not able to do that... Kind regards , Paulo B.

I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit on my computer. When I click on the Start Icon to search my computer for a specific item (Example: family birthday file) a complete listing of files relating to my search appears. After I select the file I am looking for only to find out it is not the correct one I attempt to return to the same list but it is no longer shown. I must retype my search item (Example: family birthday file) in the search field again to regain access to the file listings??? Is there a way to keep the original search data constant instead of having to start at step one every time to search for the same file??? This is such a waste of time. Yes I can cut and paste my original request so that I just paste each time I must continue with the same search for the correct file to show, but there must be a simpler way to save the original request until I no longer need it.Thank you for your helpKarl
