Guest grndnl
Hello, I recently rooted my phone, and one of the reasons for this was to get free wifi tethering on my Samsung Captivate from AT&T. Unfortunately, all of the blogs that I scavenged send me to apps that are no longer working, they just do not exist. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.GrnDnl
Solution Austin Posted June 13, 2011 Solution Report Share Posted June 13, 2011 Try Android-WiFi-Tether Link: http://code.google.com/p/android-wifi-tether/ It works on my Samsung Epic 4G (the Sprint Galaxy variant), so it should work on the captivate; although it is hard to say, AT&T has messed up most of their Android phones beyond repair.
