How do I take screenshots in Android?

I have a Sony Ericsson X8 and want to take some screenshots. Any ideas? Nothing has worked so far.

And if your looking to take a screenshot on the iPhone, just press the top Power Button + Home Button and it will take a screenshot.

 

Really couldn't get easier than that.
