Gmail Contact synching

I followed your instructions and got my itouch 4g to synch with my gmail contacts to sync with my laptop, but it wont update. I have may additions on the computer, but they don't show up on the itouch.

The contacts don't actually sync with the laptop, instead they are syncing with the Google server.If you want to pull contacts that are on your laptop with this method, you'll also need to sync your laptop contacts to the Google server.
