Beyond_Life Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 Hello, Im using win7 64 Home Premium. And a few days ago I found the program called Deskspace http://www.otakusoftware.com/deskspace/. Its a program wich creates a big dice so you get 6 different desktops on wich you can do whatever you want. With al sorts of different things you can change with each desktop. You can even tell Deskspace to start certain programmes on different desktops like "explore on 1 and 2, photoshop on 6, msn on 5, all my favorate porn on 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6" Something like that. So you can change anything you want, even the icons showing. You can change that on every desktop. I want every desktop to look the same so i also want all my gadgets on every desktop. But i dont know how. Thats just the one thing i cant change. Any of you any idea? Quote
Austin Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 looks like a cool piece of software. I'll install it later today and test it out! Quote
Beyond_Life Posted June 16, 2010 Author Report Posted June 16, 2010 Make sure to test the graphic stuff. Like the time it takes to twist the cube. Ive put it on a third of a second. And i changed the background behind the cube with a personal pic. When i pres ALT with the arrow keys, the cube appears and moves around smoothly. Very nice. And i tried giving each side of the cube a different theme with just one colour as background. Ive use the Ultimate themes. Six different colors spinning around like crazy and you got yourself a rainbow Its fun, but freaks out after a while. So ive changed it and now i got four backgrounds with pics of my daughter and the upper and lower sides are black. Quote
shockersh Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 It looks interesting but it's not free... I assume you bought it? It looks as if they also a a FREE version however I'm not sure if it's been updated to work with Windows 7. Here's where I found it: http://download.chip.eu/en/Yod_m-3D-1.4_350642.html and another one I found here: http://www.docs.kr/ Will need to play with them to see if they support Windows 7 however as they look a bit old. shockersh Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 Hey btw - I just installed Yod-m-3d 1.4 http://download.chip.eu/en/Yod_m-3D-1.4_350642.html and it's working fine with no issues on Windows 7. I did have to change up the default Hotkeys since by default they were using the new hotkeys used by Aero Snap for windows (I think that's what you call it). Anyway, FYI if you want a free version.
