What is the next version of Microsoft Office - Release Date?

When Windows 7 is released will there be a new version of Office 2007 or will the latter remain the Office Suite?

Yes, Microsoft will soon be releasing Office 2010 sometime in the 1st half of 2010. The is the LATEST thing I've read in print anyway here:

Availability

All Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference attendees will receive invitations to participate in the Technical Preview program. Office 2010 and related products will be available in the first half of 2010.

really??? I thought office 2010 was going to be released this year ahead of schedule that's to bad...

And who cares? It's going to be in the cloud right? I hope they use some sort of Google Gears technology so at least you can use it while offline.
