rather than saving my contacts in outlook, i simply use the autofill to remember all my addresses

Now, I am leaving the job, and want to somehow take all my contact info

is there a way to save and export these "autofill" addresses saved by outlook?

thanx!!

Hello,

If you are running Outlook 2007, then you can just go copy your .NK2 file. The NK2 file is the database that Outlook users to store all the Outlook Autocomplete information.

You can find it here: %APPDATA%Microsoft\Outlook

From there you can either copy it to your new Outlook profile at your new job (same location) or even better, just go grab a tool like this one - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/outlook_nk2_edit.html and export the addresses into CSV format.

If you're running a more recent version of Outlook and are running on Exchange vs Pop/SMTP, it's a VERY different process.
