Screen says no source is detected

I turned on my computer and it says "no source detected." This was after a recent power outage. What do I do to fix it?

Are you sure your computer is turning on? A lot of times the power supply can fry ($50 part) from an power surge like losing power. If the computer DOES turn on and it beeps a few times and the hard drive lights flash, then the PC is probably booting up fine however your Video card might have fried. Best thing is to take it into a computer store and have them look at it. Try to replace 1 thing at a time however.
