Selftaopath
Hi,Thank you for your services. I just recently found your site. Can you explain how to keep Google from doing a search in a language other than English? While traveling - or if one is an X pat - doing a Google search while outside USA will results in links/location/language being in a foreign language or country e.g. in Thailand doing a Google search will open www.google.co.th Thanks in advance.Keoki
Simon H
You don’t say what browser you use but this should work with any: Use the alternative NCR Google url. NCR stands for “No Country Redirect” and will display the version of Google you are after. e.g. • http://www.google.com/ncr – always goes to Google.com • http://www.google.co.uk/ncr – always goes to Google.co.uk You can just type it in or if you already have Google set as your startpage then you can just amend the address by adding /ncr to the end of it. Or depending on your browser you could create a separate startpage for the google ncr url and have them open in separate tabs like I have done in the image below using Google Chrome . That way you have the option to use either should the need arise.
