How To customize how often Snagit removes items from History

While looking for a way to change the canvas color default, I found this setting which was driving me crazy. I figured I would post it up here in case anyone else had the same question:

 

After buying Snagit 10, The Snagit editor would delete captures I made to quickly. In the options menu I found a way to customize this feature.

 

1 - Open Snagit Editor

2 - Click Snagit ORG in the Top Left of the Snagit Editor Window

3 - Click Editor Options

4 - Click Advanced Tab

5 - Edit the Number of items in the Recent File list (your preference)

6 - Adjust the setting: How often should snagit remove items from the Open Captures Tray?

6a - Slide the bar to the LEFT - Less Often and this will keep them around longer.

 

Hopefully this helps someone out there!
