Snagit 10 question - How to customize canvas color default?

By default, the new Snagit 10 sets the canvas color by default to transparent. This is great for .PNG files however I like to use a white canvas color by default.

 

Is there a setting somewhere to change this?

To change the Snagit 10 Canvas color from Transparent to White by default, you need to edit the profile from the Snagit Capture Main app (not the Snagit Editor).

 

Step 1 - Open Snagit,

Step 2 - Click Capture, Input, Properties

Step 3 - Under General Tab, Canvas Color Option, Click the Canvas Color and select white.

Step 4 - Click Ok a few times to save

 

Now under that Capture Profile, the canvas will be set to White by default.
