Guest johno
Hi, I have a printer I setup with my old computer and I just bought a new windows 7 pc. The printer is wireless and my pc is plugged into my cable modem. Everything I try I cant print. Help please?
Guest Joseph
What I would do first is make sure the Printer is still talking to your wireless network. Goto the printer and try to print a test page that displays the IP address. Once you have that you can PING the IP from your windows 7 box to see if there's network connectivity. If you can ping the box then it's not a network or a wireless issues but a software issue. Let me know if you need more help.
Vadim
Make sure the computer drivers are compatible with Windows 7. I had a lot of issues getting my HP all in one to work with my HP Printer (even though I attached it with a USB cable). HP never did release a new driver and it still doesn't work..... Google the model # of your printer and then see if there are windows 7 drivers available. Make sure you are getting the right kind too, 32 bit or 64 bit.
