change apache port from 80 to 8080

Hi mrgroove. I followed your instructions on your article here: http://www.groovypost.com/howto/apache/ ... ple-ports/ but i'm still having problems.

 

im trying to configure apache to use port 8080 instead of 80 but my site is still using port 80.

 

help?

What are you running Apache on? Linux or Windows? Did you restart Apache after you made the changes? Dont forget, after a config change you need to restart Apache.
