When I click on a folder the contents always come up in details or icon mode. I would like to change the default mode to list. How do I do that?

open windows explorer, go to a open spot and right click, click on View, and then on mediam iconthen go to tools at the top, choose Folder Options, and then View, click on Apply to all folders problem solved
