mistycantsleep
I know how to reset it when I can access the control panel, but I can't get to it. So how to I reset it to factory from start up?
dw96
From what I understand you want to make a Windows Recovery, right? You have two options from here:1. Use the Windows DVD to perform a Windows RecoveryOR2. Use any recovery discs by Acer that came with the laptop and can be used to reset the OS. Sometimes when you get a new PC it will come with a partition on it which you can use to Refresh or Reset it. Hopefully you have that. One REALLY nice feature of Windows 8 is the ability to RESET the PC: http://www.groovypost.com/howto/reset-windows-8-pc/ Or REFRESH the PC: http://www.groovypost.com/howto/refresh-windows-8-pc-refresh/ Reset does a complete reset, deleting all your data, giving you a fresh install of Windows 8. Refresh gives you a clean install of Windows 8 however it keeps all your personal files. I'm "REALLY" Looking forward to those features....
