system tray icons are acting up on my

Especially one icon is action up. Its the volume icon. Well, its not realy action up, its just not there. And when I tried to find it in my configuration screen, i got the message that the administrator disabled it. But i am the admin in this network. How can i enable it again and get my volume back? Because with the volume icon missing, im also unable to change any volume settings on the laptop.
