How to remove "all programs" list from Outlook?

Recommended Posts

In Win7, 64-bit, when I run Outlook, often the "All Programs" list appears in a vertical format at the left side of the screen, with a list of functions including Control Panel beside it. I don't want to see the All Programs list unless I access it from the Start menu. Can I remove these lists?

I can send a screen shot if needed.
