HelpJas Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Hai Groove... I have a new issue.. I formatted a Toshiba laptop 2 days back. I was installing the needed drivers. Then i saw a yellow exclamation mark on Video Controller(VGA compatible) and VGA Controller. I searched Toshiba-Driver-Download site and downloaded Display driver for the laptop but it said the minimum requirements not satisfied. I couldnt find a Video Controller Driver or anything similar. This is the information about the system (according to Belrac Advisor website) Model: Toshiba Satellite A30 PSA30E-00526 Ptocessor:3.07 GH Intel Mobile P4 Enclosure type : Notebook OS: Windows XP Pro, SP2 Board: Toshiba DBL00 Bios:Toshiba v1.50 Display: Not detected Multimedia: Intel® 82801AA AC'97 Looking forward for your response.. Thanks.. Take care.. Quote
Steve Krause Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Hi Jas, Your right. That's an old Notebook and I tried all the Toshiba's support sites (US/Canada/Germany etc..) AND, I found the drivers FINALLY on the UK site: UK SUPPORT SITE Important , once you click the link and get to the drivers site, you will need to click the drop down and change the operating system to Windows XP then Click the SEARCH button. Once you do this you should get a listing for all the Satellite A Series drivers for the Toshiba A30. Let me know how it works. Hopefully these are the right drivers. According to the model you listed above, you should be golden. Thanks, Quote
