How do you assign a page to 127.0.0.1

Hey there just a quick question,

I have a lot of my online advertisements blocked by rerouting them with my HOSTS file to the address 127.0.0.1, the only thing is it looks kind of ugly... Is there a way to assign a picture or a blank white page to your localhost 127.0.0.1?

Yup. I do the exact same thing for other reasons.

That's a great question. You could probably fix the problem by redirecting all the traffic to an IP address (instead of 127.0.0.1) to a webserver which hosts a website that serves up a white page.

I'll have to play with this but you should be able to do it with redirects. Should be simple. Let me play with it and get back to you. I'm sure ppl will appreciate the creative solution.

;)
