Windows 7 Net Use

I am currently running Windows 7 Enterprise Edition 64 bit for my users and several of them are experiencing a weird problem. We have a company logon script which maps bunch of network drives for user depending on their office location. So if you are in Bangalore, you would get drive mapping of shares from Bangalore server, however problem is that several users are seeing different results when they view network locations from the explorer compare to that of "Net use" statement from a command prompt. For ex:

Net use will show F: \\HongKong\App where the same F: mapping under computer(explorer) will show as App (\\HongKong) (F:), strange thing is when you access it from either location(explorer or command prompt), you see the contents for "Banglore" App Share..

1) What could be causing this to happen?

2) Is there a way to change the header on the explorer window which displays the location information.
