Beyond_Life
Ive got a legal version of win7 x64 Home. One of the shortcoming of Home is that Windows doesnt want you to make backups to a network. Only local, like a external drive. Is there a workaround for this problem? Because ive got a NAS. And I do everyting with it, so i also wanna place my back to the NAS instead of doing it with all the extra steps in between.
Steve
I've written several articles on Windows 7 backup. Don't get me wrong, I think it's great. That being said, I personally use GFI backup. I started using it when they made a free about a year ago - http://www.groovypost.com/howto/freewar ... me-backup/ Ever since they keep releasing new versions and it keeps getting better and better. You can use it to backup your system daily and only look for changes (differentials etc..). It also has a feature to backup to a network drive or FTP so you should be able to get your backups onto your NAS no problem. http://www.gfi.com/backup-hm
