Here's the list I have so far: 1 - http://www.recuva.com/ - Freeware 2 - http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk - Open Source / Freeware. Includes Partition Recovery 3 - http://undelete-plus.com/ - Freeware 4 - http://www.aumha.org/a/recover.php - Freeware 5 - http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec - Linux and Windows Restore All this said, the best way to make sure you can recover your data is to use a real data protection / backup tool. My preference in 2020 is Backblaze. It just works. I used to like Crashplan but, it no longer sells to consumers, just the biz. Any missed?
