Decided to see how fast this Verizon 4G LTE Dongle is today. Now that is FAST! How many of you have home internet connections this fast? Yeah, I didn't think so. This is a clear sign of what is to come in the home over the next 5 years. According to my Verizon contacts, this is exactly why Verizon sold their west coast home FIOS business to Frontier. The future internet is wireless and this speed test I just ran is a perfect example of why. My contact at Verizon also told me by 2013 they will have full North American coverage with with their partnership with Vodaphone, global coverage follows after that. Not bad.
