Hi,

I remember that in windows XP, we were able to go in the sound proprieties, switch to record devices and to record and choose the "mixer output" as an imput device. Now this function is gone. Few months ago, I made some research off the internet to discover that the magnificent (cencored word here) RIAA asked microsoft to remove this function. Now its gone.

I was wondering if there were a software way to make this function work again. I know that it is possible to make a jump on my soundcard, but it wouldn't work on my laptop.

Ah, and by the way, I am using windows 7 ultimate on a Asus P5Q-E system, with no other soundcard then the motherboard's one.

Thank you for your time and have a nice day!
