create a booklet using 2010 problem

Hi,

I have a document to print in booklet form.

Document pages are set to vertical orientation

When I click Print menu then Page set and margins and then bookfold the orientation switches to horizontal.

This makes sense to fit 2 pages on each side but it also changes the document page itself by streching out the print over the horizontal document which throws everything off - both shortening the page and messing up the lines.

My 28 page booklet prints as 70+ unusable pages!

 

Can you help me?
