Thunderbird remote content popup

I read the blog posting re tweaking the code to allow all remote content and thus avoid the popup permanently (by Dexter, I think?), but my problem is this: There is a button for 'always load remote content from ...' but no option for 'NEVER load remote content from....'. There are some feeds I get that have annoying moving ads in their remote content that make it difficult to read the actual message they are sending, so I want to permanently block their remote content, but still have the option to see others, without that equally annoying banner/header with the security warning on it every time. Any hacks for that?? Thanks in advance!!

Well.... normally the "Load remote content" is for SSL sites that want to load in non-ssl pages from remote sites.

One option that I've used in the past to block ads from different sites is to inspect the ad and grab the host name of the website that is displaying it. From there go into your local hosts file and put the website / host name into the hosts file and replace the IP address with 127.0.0.1

Hopefully that all makes sense.
