move folders from one user (not computer) to another user

When transferring files from my old computer to the new one using the transfer wizard in windows 7, i created a new user for those files. Now, i'm trying to move the files from one user to another & can't see either files in the other user. how can I bring them onto the new computer & then delete the user I created?

Did you create the new user on the new computer using the Transfer Wizard?

 

Where is it you cannot see the files? On the old computer or the new computer? Sorry..... I wasn't quite able to follow you on your issue above.

I created the files on the new computer & populated them using Transfer Wizard.

under the user called "old computer", i can see only the files i brought over from the old computer. under the other user, i can only see files that were originally on the computer (I think). i'm struggling to get the "hang" of Windows 7 vs the older versions.

I hope you can help me sort through this...it's way outside my comfort level:)
