Windows Woes

Hello,

I would highly suggest against installing Windows 7 on your new computer. Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft, which means there are no more security patches and updates. If I were you, I would grab a copy of Windows 10 or Windows 11 and do a clean install. If it won't run Windows 11, chances are, it should run Windows 7.

You might need to get Microsoft involved also to get an OEM license for the machine. It's hard to say, depending on where it came from.

That's what I would do...

Hello

You can check below steps-

-Obtain a Windows 7 installation disk or create a bootable USB with the ISO file.

Enter BIOS/UEFI settings and set the USB or DVD as the primary boot device.

-Insert the bootable USB or DVD and restart the computer to start the installation.

-Select "Custom (Advanced)" installation and choose the SSD as the installation drive.

-Enter your product key when prompted, or skip and activate later.

-Complete the installation and install any necessary drivers for your Lenovo model.

Thank you🙂
