What stylus do I need for writing on touchscreen monitor using Handwriting Recognition?

Recommended Posts

I have a Dell Touchscreen Monitor, ST2240, I believe. I want to use it with my electronic medical records. The handwriting recognition will be very helpful, but I can not find a stylus to write fine enough to make the text box recognize anything unless it is just HUGE lettering. It is way too coarse even with the smallest of tips that I can find and even with changing writing settings to "very fine". I have tried several "capacitance" type styli, even Adonis Jot, but none work. I tried the stylus from my Lenovo tablet, but it is pressure based and did not work at all on this type of touchscreen.

What do you suggest? I noticed on your demo that you were moving a dot cursor about. How? Surely that was not your mouse....

Please help !!!!

Ron
