deleting default apps from windows 7

Is it safe to delete Microsoft xps document writer and Microsoft shared fax from the devices hardware page as I will not be using them? They have been installed during setup as a default. Thanks, Jack

Hi Jack - It won't hurt anything however I'd vote to just leave them there. They won't hurt anything and they don't take up much space. Plus, if PDF ever dies (yeah I know... It won't) it might be good to have the Microsoft version there -- xps.

Oh wait -- even Microsoft doesn't use XPS really anymore hehehhe... A bit late to that party!
