I have extracted the Groovy file to a location on a Linux box. It has created these files/files.....

bin

COPYRIGHT

db

include

javafx-src.zip

jre

lib

LICENSE

man

README.html

release

src.zip

THIRDPARTYLICENSEREADME-JAVAFX.txt

and THIRDPARYLICENSEREADME

 

What do I do now?

I figured it out...but now when I try to run "groovy -version" it comes up with this:

 

Error: Could not find or load main class org.codehaus.groovy.tools.GroovyStarter

 

My path to groovy is simple........//app/local/oracle/groovy
