Pls help me stop background data consumption!

Dear friends,

I got a problem. I'm using Beetel modem for connecting internet in my PC. Whenever i connect with it, google chrome is opened as default but I exit it. But Data is being consumped in the background. I've stopped/disable "background intelligence transfer service" too. Still, no use.

Hope I can get a solution here.
