Steve Krause
Today on gP I received an alert from my VaultPress install that a few plugins I'm running were flagged as having suspicious links inside them. Here's the alert: Doing a little digging, the two plugins involved were BackWPup and WP Post to PDF which I use for my subscription service. The plugins were flagged because both have links back to http://php.net inside them: http://www.php.net/manual/en/mcrypt.requirements.php http://www.php.net/manual/en/book.hash.php Apparently php.net was flagged by Google on 10/24/2013 via its Google Safe Browsing for javascript and malware issues. Php.net remedied the situation today so it alert should vanish tomorrow 10/25. Just a great example for why I use VaultPress. Great, real-time protection from the good folks at Automatic. Thanks guys! -Steve
