Will running laptop with no battery hurt it?

My laptop is never unplugged, will it damage my laptop if I remove the battery. I would like to store battery away. Thank You.

Hello and welcome to gP.

 

Nope -- Your laptop will be just fine without a battery in it. It won't cause any issues or harm to your "Laptop".

 

In regards to your battery, I assume it's a lithium ion battery. In this case, charge it to 40% and then store it in your fridge in a ziplock bag. This will maximize the life of the battery.
