Steve Krause Posted July 22, 2012 Report Posted July 22, 2012 My bank was recently acquired by another bank and it resulted in my Quicken Online transaction download to stop working in Quicken. In order to setup my new back for my Accounts I needed to Right Click the Account, Click Edit/Delete Account then Click on the Online Services Tab. The problem is when I clicked the Deactivate Account, it would hang on Connecting. The only way to abort was to kill the process is task manager. I figured the issue was that my old bank couldn't be reached and it was hanging. The Fix Simple. Just disable your network adapter (or unplug the network cable) then Deactivate all your accounts. Once completed, Re-Enable your network adapter and re-configure them as needed. Worked for me! Quote
