Splitting PST file - Outlook 2007

Recommended Posts

I'm using:

Outlook 2007

Google Apps standard

I have several folders set up in Outlook - I want to decrease the size of my PST file by putting some of those folders into their own PST files.

Would this be a good idea?

How would I go about doing this?

Best option CJ is to just create multiple PST files and then move over your email into the new PST files. Once that is done, Right Click the PST folder in Outlook and click Compress it to reduce its size after the email is pulled out.

If you are searching for the best tool which can reduce the large size PST file into small pieces, then I would suggest you use Split pst tool. This is a cost-effective and powerful utility that can instantly reduce the oversized PST files without losing error. The software easily reduces PST size by dividing then into smaller pieces. The software divides large and heavy PST files into multiple smaller parts. The software has the capability to break the entire Outlook database like journals, notes, task, contacts, etc. if you know more information about this software then visit here:-  https://www.softwarewiki.org/split-pst/
