Make iPhone Icons Dark or a Tinted Color

I recently wrote an article about a new ability starting with iOS 18 that allows you to make your iPhone icons dark or a tinted color by playing with the color sliders.

Anyway, I am curious if you guys found a Tinted color that you prefer? Dark icon and removing app icon labels is a cool look for me. Have fun every one! Experiment and see what your come up with.

To turn the color of icons on your iPhone:

  1. Long-press the home screen until the icons and widgets jiggle.
  2. Tap Edit > Customize.
  3. Choose Dark or Tinted and adjust the color of the icon.
