Nethan Shaw
For context,Ill try to briefly mention on what likely caused this from my understanding. I helped a friend to install Windows 11 on a hard drive to get his PC running after his NVMe drive stopped working. Between the drives we had on us, we tried a Western Digital Blue 2TB to install the OS,but the installation failed and ended up making the drive not readable. I have tried to reinstall the OS again in hopes of solving the corrupt files, but im not having much luck. I have used Disk Management, and the drive shows as unmanaged and refuses to want to allocate as GPT or MBR. Along with diskpart in CMD running as administrator. Would someone more knowledgeable be able to give insight on this issue? Im very certain the drive can work normally if the corrupt OS can be somehow removed.
