Mail merge from GAL, Outlook 2007?

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to do a mail merge to selected users from the GAL in Outlook 07, from a user perspective?

I'm on an Exchange system with 100,000+ users in the GAL (including groups, etc), but only ~500 that I could conceivably need to send these merge emails to (in my physical region), and I have no admin control over the GAL.

Of those ~500 users, I need to be able to send personalized emails to ~50-100 each day to specific users. The ability to print out a log of the emails I sent would be helpful, but is outside the scope of this project (that was one of the reasons I was contemplating Access - update GAL import, re-run query of users in my physical location, enter list of users I need to send the email to, click one button that generates email to each user and creates/prints out the list of users who received the email). I've suspended my investigation of Access as a possible solution because my network administrator called me and told me my import was slowing down the network, after attempting to process the import for 20 minutes.

I don't want to copy these users into my PAB, since changes are made every day to the GAL (with or without me needing to know about it), and keeping my PAB up to date would be an administrative nightmare.

I can't use any add-ons for my Outlook, or install any additional software. I do have permissions to write macros and VBA code.

Any thoughts?

I have Office 365 Home. I can't send email using the Outlook app because it tells me I have no certificate? My computer has Windows 10 Pro. Outlook is configured using Exchange. I have tried reconfiguring it but it will not let me change the settings. Do I need to purchase a certificate or how do I change the settings? I have always been able to send email till I installed Office 365 Home.
Thanks! Any help will be appreciated.

A feature I use all the time in Microsoft Outlook 2013 (Office 2013) is the ability to open a calendar invite during a meeting and click - Meeting Notes. See screenshot from Outlook 2013.
After installing Office 2016, when I open up outlook I no longer have that option in the calendar. It's just missing.
Is anyone else having this issue or is it just me?
Hopefully this is just an issue with the Preview and it will get fixed later during full release.

I have tried other Forums and no one seems to have a fix for this, but I just keep on trying.
I am having an issue with the “Junk” filter in Microsoft Office Outlook 2010. I am unable to stop some email from being filtered and moved to the “Junk” filter. My mail is filtered prior to my getting it, so I WANT IT COMPLETELY OFF! I went to the Junk drop down on the Home menu bar and selected Junk E-mail Options. I click on the lowest setting being . . . No Automatic Filtering. Mail from blocked senders is still moved to the Junk E-mail Folder. And I have no one listed in the Block Senders list, so that should mean, nothing is filtered. But, a small portion of my e-mail still ends up there. Ahhh – I and can’t stop it.
