Dear Steve Thank you for your invitation to write to your blog. Your blog has been very useful to me since I came to know it through Andre Costa on Twitter. I am not great computer expert, but have been handling them since early 70s in Pune (India) where I was doing my post-grad studies at the University. I am a history researcher and also contribute as columnist to various dailies in Goa since past decade or so. Computers have been my companions of research, and hence my interest in being computer-friendly! As a founder-director of research institute in Goa, affiliated to Goa University, perhaps I took a pioneer step in providing a digital catalogue of the research library in late 1970s. More on me you may find on Wikipedia by looking for Teotonio R. de Souza or at https://about.me/teodesouza Teotonio R. de Souza

I turned on my computer and it says "no source detected." This was after a recent power outage. What do I do to fix it?

I have Pst files in my current outlook 2007. I am leaving one company that I am employed with and moving to another company....I want to make sure to save and move my .pst files for my outlook, to my new outlook with my new company. How can I do this...I know it sounds simple but for me, it is not...
I recently had the dreaded Windows Security Virus and it crashed my hard drive - apparently my drive was getting old and breaking down anyways so I got a new hard drive and had someone install Windows 7 from XP and move everything over.
However - all that's there under "Old Files" are links to Web sites I frequented - NONE of my old files, pictures or E-mails can be found. Or at least I can't find them...
Is there hope? Is there some secret place Windows 7 is hiding these files???
