  1. Hi. I am trying to sync my iPod Touch with my Nexus 7. I have followed the instructions on this site for setting up an exchange account and that all seems to have gone through ok. What I don't understand, is; does synchronisation now happen automatically, or do I need to do something more to make it happen? Any help very gratefully received.
  2. I really hope someone can help me. I have recently bought the Nexus 7 and have been trying to synch my calendar and contacts from my iPod Touch with the Nexus without success. I then found the excellent detailed information on this site which I followed and everything appeared to be ok. As I went along step-by-step, everything seemed to be going alright and my password and username were accepted where these were required. However, now it is completed, my iPod obviously tries to synch, but every time I open either my calendar or contacts, I get a message saying "Password incorrect enter the password for the Exchange account "Gmail". I have entered the password I have for Gmail, (which is the same one I entered as I went along following the instructions), but it is not accepted and I am stuck.I am not aware of a different password, although, (probably like most people these days), I do have more than one. If you can advise me that would be very much appreciated.Trevor
  3. I am really really sorry you guys, but I actually have a 2 g ipod touch ?And want to download 5.0.1. Onto iTunes. I have tried downloading all the firmware etc and then went into iTunesAnd held the shift key etc, but I keep getting a message saying my iPod is not compatible.I think I will have to go and buy a 3G iPod of eBay in the end. You see I would like to get 5.0.1. On my 2g and jailbreak from there. I know how to jailbreak and get the firmware etc but I just can't seem to get 5.0.1. On to iTunes.I will keep fingers crossed that someone may be able to advice. Cheers, wilfy009
  4. Hello Techs, Thank you for the post on syncing the ipod touch with exchange email and gmail. I have the ipod touch gen 4and I was able to sync my gmail without any issue for quite some time.I synced my exchange email without any issues today for the first time. Mail was flowing from both entities no issues. When I left my work wi-fi and got home the ipod touch connected to my home wi-fi the exchanged mail stopped coming. I have my blackberry synced and it was receiving mail from the exchange with no issues. So I read the article and saw the note regarding the fact I can’t have two active syncs at once. So, I deleted the gmail and powered the ipod touch 4 gen down. I brought it back up and it is stuck at checking for mail.Any thoughts? Thanks, Jen
