Class 10 Micro SD Card Extremely Slow?
dw96 posted a topic in General Geek Questions (HW, SW, Etc..)
I have a Samsung 16GB Class 10 Micro SD Card. While I still had my android phone (which died after gracefully hitting the floor) I had two partitions on it - one FAT32 and one EXT. I used the EXT for android apps and although the read and write speeds on both partitions were terrible (~ 35 kb/sec) it worked for the most part on keeping my apps in the SD card. Now that that phone is dead, I want to reuse this card by putting it into my temporary Nokia. What I did was the obvious - I put the card in a reader and I completely deleted the two partitions. Afterwards I created a new partition out of the uncallocated space, using FAT32. I set up everything correctly, but after trying to transfer my photos and music, the write speed was around 30 kb/sec AGAIN. I tried various fixers, micro SD formatters, HP flash tool recovery tools and a ton of other apps. Nothing worked. Did I screw up my card for good or is there hope to get it fixed? Thanks in advance -
I have been having much difficulty lately with my Flash Player crashing in Firefox. I've exhausted myself trying to find a solution to this issue and have had no success in making this problem go away. I am running FF 23.0.1, Windows 7 Enterprise with Service Pack 1. I've checked to make sure that Shockwave Flash is up to date within FF and it is, showing v. 11.8.800.94. I've removed it and re-installed, no change. I've cleared my cache and that helped only once but it no longer makes any difference. It seems to only be happening within FF if I use IE it doesn't seem to happen, or at least I haven't experienced it yet. I know, solution is to use IE instead of FF, but I really do prefer FF over IE - except for this issue, which is becoming more and more of an issue for me. If I can't find a solution, and my Help Desk at work is stumped on this, then I'm just going to have to stop using FF and go back to IE solely.

Hello everyone, I have been trying to switch my service from my crappy wildfire S to a samsung fascinate. I followed the guide as depicted here, and here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PoGBFFJF7xg&feature=youtu.be&t=19m26s http://www.groovypost.com/howto/epic-4g-on-virgin-mobile/ I have managed to receive incoming texts on the fascinate, but I cannot send them. I also cannot place calls as I get "error 16 redirecting to 38" or something along the lines. Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you in advance. Edit: I finally got all the settings to stick in QPST (had issues with ppp) but still I cannot dial out/text out.. (not sure about incoming calls)
