I just got a Galaxy 4S and it comes preloaded with apps like the weather, S Memo, Calendar, Calculator, etc. I would like to get rid of them and use my favorites, like the weather channel,Cozi Calendar,Calculator PLUS, etc. I don't want to have two of some apps on my phone. Is there a way to uninstall them? Thanks.

Is there an email app for iPhone that lets you use pop 3 email and: Add new folders to the inbox. Filter emails based on words in the body or subject. I have seen one alternative app but it only works with gmail. I am looking for one that I can use to download any emails.

I installed Advanced Task Killer on my Galaxy III phone. It DOES work and kills programs that are active and that I do not need immediately. Yet, two hours later, many of the programs have re-started and are once again draining the life out of my battery.I barely get one full day from a battery charge and the Advanced Task Killer app seems to work but only temporarily. Is there some way to permanently suspend the updating of apps until I need to open them? This would save me a lot of charging time. Either with this app or some other way?

Hey all I am 3g iphone user and would like to do tracking for one of my son (6-year-old) of his whereabout especially when I am overseas. He is an Android user. Can I know if there is an apps that I can make use of to do tracking. I do not need to track him every second, every minute though..... just wana make sure that he is safe whenever I cant reach him on his mobile. But I do not wana intrude into his privacy so if the apps can be made in a way that he is not aware that he is "being tracked" would be better

I came to realise that there are some apps which I have deleted from my iphone had seemed NOT to be totally deleted. hmmm......... what I am trying to say is - e.g. I have previously installed FB app on my iphone but when I go back to the apps store and search "facebook" it was not indicated as "free" but "install" so I suspected that this s/w is still lurking in my iphone. Am I right to say that? or I can safely say it is "totally trashed" out? if it is not totally trashed out, is there a way whereby it can be "totally wiped out" on my iphone (as if it was never install before?) possible? I came to realise that happens on Android phones too getting into "my files" I can still see "facebook" sitting in my phone. but on the "play store" it did indicate "isntall" (as if it was never install before)

I just completed my first, very basic dual-monitor setup. I like using ATi Eyefinity and also Windows' Extended Desktop but I want to get a little bit more out of it. Does anyone out there have any suggestions for cool third party Windows apps I can use to both boost my productivity or benefit more out of dual screens?

Ive got a laptop with w7 x64 and Gtalk installed. Next to that ive got a Android phone. Now, when I have Gmail open, and GTalk logged on (in Gmail) and im chatting with somebody, the messages i get back also appear on my phone. When I answer on my phone, my messages DONT appear on the laptop in Gtalk, and also dont appear in the Talk in Gmail. Thats kinda annoying if I leave my laptop for a while and contineu on my phone. Anybody got any idea if there is a sollution to get the sycning right?
