  1. I have a long document set up as a table in Word 2010, and I need to get rid of the table structure. After some searching I found the "Convert to text" feature for tables in the Table Tools/Layout section. But when I used it, weird things happened. Some of the text seemed to disappear (although I suspect it's there somewhere but not visible), and the document went from 18 pages to 5 pages. When I tried to convert just one page at a time, the text became all jumbled, with some sections superimposed on others. There are still gridlines visible, so I suspect all the table structure was not remove
  2. I just came across this site and thought I would see if someone could help me with a problem that is a continuous one for me with Headers in Word 2010. I have tried to find an answer on other forums, but so far no luck. I work in a law office and create numerous documents where spacing is critical. A lot of the time, the header "scrunches up" (I don't know any other way to put it, but basically the spacing is off as it brings the lines up closer to each other and "smashes" the header together). When it does this, it messes up the spacing on all of the pages. The only way I have figured ou
  3. My Win 7 desktop will not correctly display gif files in Word 2010. The file looks normal on my XP laptop (and everyone else's computer), but on the desktop computer a gif of a math equation in Word becomes white text in maybe Signboard font on a black background, sometimes readable, usually not. The problem isn't consistent either. One equation may be weird and the next is normal. I might also note that on some documents the line spacing looks all out of whack, but it's normal on other computers. I've un-installed, re-installed, and updated my Office 10 and updated Windows 7....I am at my
  4. I added the styles command to a new custom group on the mailings tab but it will only display the styles icon and not the scrolling box like you get on the home tab. There is enough space to display the styles box but it will only show the icon.
  5. I made a table 4 colums wide and 4 pages long. The colum titles on each page are Name, Surname, Number, Date. I do an a to z sort on the Name column ascending and the titles on page 1 are ok. The problem is that the titles on pages 2, 3, 4 get sorted and move up the list. What sort settings do use to not sort the Name, Surname, Number, Date so they stay at the top of page 2, 3, 4.Thank you.

  9. Since yesterday, Im using Office 2010 at the office. Everything is going well so far. But Im having some printing problems. We have standard letters we use. When I have to write one, I just grab an empty standard letter and fill it in. But then with printing it goes wrong. The first page of the letter needs to be printed on our office stationary (is that the correct english translation?), the seconde, thirds, fourth etcetc pages need to be printed on normal white paper. But its printing everything on office stationary, including logo's and stuff. If I check the options Im able to change a st
