  1. Anyone who has learned anything about earning money on the internet knows that one of the best sources of free traffic is from search engines. We all know about the major engines such as Google, Yahoo, and Bing. The search market has become a market worth several billion dollars a year, so it probably comes as no surprise that new engines are popping up in a regular basis. Many of these minor search engines have come and gone, but more continue to come in the hopes of stealing a piece of the Google market. The internet has been the modern gold rush, and it only continues to attract people
  2. The basics of creating a great Adsense ad has not changed, so it always pays to go back to the basics. Remember that the first line must be 35 characters long. This line should be all in capital letters. Use a punctuation mark at the end so that they do not separate this line for some reason. You then have two additional lines to write your copy followed by a line that contains the URL. This line also has 25 characters. Use them all wisely. In addition, run three ads at the same time. Run your best producing ad twice and your new test ad once.
  3. There are several ways to increase your browser speed. The first one is to make sure that you clean out the old sites on a regular basis. While most experts recommend that you do this at least once a week, if you do a lot of searching, then you may need to do it on a daily basis. In addition, make sure that you install a good virus program and keep it updated. There are so many viruses that can slow down your speed and cause other problems to the computer. Finally, your computer may have add-ons placed on it that you did not even know was there, so make sure to check them on a regular basis.
  4. I use Chrome as my primary browser. While I have tried Firefox, I was not impressed by the number of things that they wanted to add to my window. In fact, Firefox claims to be more stable but my computer freezes up more when I am using it than when I use Chrome. My backup browser is Internet Explorer. I find that it works particularly well when I need to visit sites in England. It seems to connect to them at a faster rate. I don’t understand this. If anyone has a theory I would love to hear it, but find it is my personal experience.
  5. In August 2013, Google released the Hummingbird update. Today, the robots are looking for articles that are informative and over 1,000 words long. This coupled with Panda and Penguin updates ahead of that effectively killed article directories. Make sure that every word on your website is unique because there are huge penalties for duplicate content. In addition, make sure that the content is useful to the reader. The more specifics you can provide the better. Try to create a phrase that real users would enter into a search engine and use it exactly that way in three places within the article.
